Technical Product Manager plays a crucial role in ALABS, acts as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that products align with organizational goals. This role involves understanding business needs, gathering and analyzing requirements, defining product vision and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products. The TPM ensures that products align with business goals, customer needs, and market trends while leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires a deep understanding of technology, business processes, and stakeholder needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business goals and market trends.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, Product Owners, and business units.
- Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to gather insights, validate ideas, and refine features.
- Conduct market research and data analysis to make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate product updates, timelines, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Identify risks, solve problems, and ensure smooth product delivery.
- Highlight any gaps between strategic business vision and technology capabilities.
- Act as the key product leader, driving clarity and alignment across engineering and business teams.
- Champion data-driven decision-making, leveraging metrics and user feedback to iterate and improve the product.
What We're Looking For
- Proven product management experience.
- Proven understanding of business acumen and business needs
- Strong technical background (CS degree, engineering experience, or deep familiarity with cloud applications).
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools (Figma, Lucidchart, Visio).
- Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proven ability to set a clear product vision and strategy while balancing execution and innovation.
- Business Requirement Gathering & Documentation skills.
- Expertise in agile methodologies, lean development, and best engineering practices.
- Experience leading teams through technical transformation, such as cloud migration or adopting new technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product, data, and commercial teams
