Our client, a fast-growing and highly innovative smart home & building automation business, is looking for a Technical Sales Account Manager/Partner Coach to join their expanding UK team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is disrupting its market and scaling rapidly with revenues of £200M and a £1B growth target. This a full-time, office-based role in Reading What you’ll be doing
Supporting partners (installers/integrators) with technical queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems Assisting with project planning, including system design and hardware selection Troubleshooting installations and providing practical, solution-focused advice Guiding partners through setup, configuration, and commissioning Delivering training and onboarding support to new and existing partners Helping partners successfully sell and implement solutions Collaborating with internal teams across sales, training, and technical support
What skills you’ll bring
Background in electrical engineering, automation, or similar technical field would be highly advantageous Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Confidence communicating with partners via phone, email, and in person Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and practically A technically credible approach with strong relationship-building skills Interest or experience in smart home tech, IoT, or building automation A proactive, motivated mindset suited to a fast-growth environment
