Technical Sales Engineer
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Bradford, for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical knowledge and sales experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales process, delivering technical expertise, and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide effective technical solutions
Assist with the preparation of proposals, quotations, and sales contracts
Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Visit customer sites to measure and inspect existing and new compensators
Complete site inspection reports following visits
Carry out general office duties as required
Candidate Requirements
Previous sales experience
Strong technical knowledge and understanding
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Customer-focused with the ability to build strong client relationships
Good computer skills
Full clean driving licence (essential)
Full training will be provided.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 13:00
This position is offered on a Hybrid basis and will involve occasional overnight stays when visiting client sites or prospective customers.
Salary & Benefits
Starting salary of £32,000 per year
