Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business within the precision engineering sector, is currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to work with a respected manufacturer supplying high-precision components and engineered solutions to a range of industries.Working in a consultative sales environment, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing key customer relationships across the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue within the precision engineering and manufacturing marketsIdentify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, engineering companies, and manufacturing clientsManage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation, and contract awardBuild strong relationships with key decision makers including engineering managers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholdersInterpret technical drawings and customer specifications to propose suitable manufacturing solutionsWork closely with internal engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and deliveredPrepare accurate costings, quotations, and technical proposalsProvide regular sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to senior managementAttend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events to promote the company’s capabilitiesMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and project follow-upRequirementsProven experience in a technical sales role within precision engineering, CNC machining, or advanced manufacturingStrong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processesDemonstrated ability to win new business and grow existing accountsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsCommercially driven with a consultative sales approachComfortable managing a mix of new business development and account managementFull UK driving licenceExcellent commission scheme with strong earning potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
