Job Description
Job Overview
Our client is looking for a proactive and driven Territory Development Manager to help expand network of secure bike-parking locations across London. In this role, you will identify, secure, and launch new sites within a defined territory, combining strategic planning, business development, and partnership management.
This is a field-focused position ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, visiting sites, and owning a territory end-to-end.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Territory Planning & Site Identification
- Plan and manage your assigned territory.
- Map and prioritise high-demand areas using internal data, heat maps, and on-the-ground insights.
- Identify locations where new sites will generate the greatest impact.
- Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery calls, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Respond to inbound interest from businesses regarding our services and solutions.
- Assess prospective sites and position the best solution with clear benefits for users and local communities.
- Collaborate with operations and city teams to design practical layouts aligned with customer needs.
- Own growth targets for your territory and maintain an accurate pipeline within the CRM.
- Report regularly on activity, conversion rates, forecasts, and key insights from the field.
- 2–4+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, field sales, real estate, parking, or a related B2B role (experience in mobility or fast-growing environments is a plus).
- Proven ability to source prospects, manage a pipeline, and close win-win deals.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills; confident speaking with owners, centre managers, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to clearly communicate value.
- Highly organised, data-literate, and confident using CRM systems and basic mapping tools.
- Self-starter who enjoys field work, regular site visits, and managing a territory independently.
- Passion for sustainable mobility and improving city environments is a strong advantage.
- Experience in mobility or sustainability sectors.
- Knowledge of London’s boroughs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up.
- Independent and self-motivated, yet collaborative with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, persistent, and solutions-oriented when navigating objections or longer sales cycles.
- Willing to travel regularly across London for meetings and site assessments.
