Transport Planner Location: Scunthorpe Salary circa £32k -£40k About the Role My client is looking for an experienced Transport Planner who has ambition to take the next step up to Management in time.This is a key position ensuring their fleet operations run smoothly, efficiently and in full compliance with UK transport regulations. You will be the link between our drivers, operations, fleet and customer service keeping everything moving while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. Role: Maximise transport planning efficiencies across the fleet Maximise vehicle utilisation for the customer base to make the fleet as efficient as possible Close liaison with the Customer service team to ensure that customers know delivery information and times, and that any special instructions are passed onto the transport team. Resolve problems relating to transport planning issues to minimise disruption to customers, providing alternative solutions to ensure the customer is retained.
