- Conducting detailed assessments of vehicle damage across structural, body, mechanical, electrical, and interior components as part of the Estimator/VDA position
- Preparing accurate estimates including parts, labour, and repair costs
- Completing insurance documentation with precise repair recommendations
- Negotiating contracts with material and parts suppliers
- Ensuring that all work meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations
- Maintaining detailed records to support insurance claims and repair processes
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Proven experience as an Estimator/VDA within a busy bodyshop environment
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Audatex is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Knowledge of manufacturer repair standards and ATA qualifications are advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and detailed assessments
