Vehicle Technician Our client, a reputable dealership in Barnstaple, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their busy service centre. Benefits: * Competitive basic salary of up to £35,000 per annum * Generous overtime opportunities paid at time and a half * Performance-based bonuses, with many technicians earning approximately £10,000 extra monthly * Continuous manufacturer training and professional development programmes * Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 to 17:00 * Optional Saturday overtime available * 22 days holiday plus bank holidays Duties of a Vehicle Technician: * Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer standards * Perform MOT tests or handle vehicle repairs exclusively according to licensing and skill set * Accurately diagnose faults and advise customers on required repairs * Complete service and repair reports, alongside necessary documentation * Ensure all work is carried out efficiently, adhering to high standards and warranty guidelines * Provide technical support within the team and contribute to knowledge sharing * Maintain the workshop area in a clean and organised manner Requirements: * Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with a minimum of two years’ workshop experience * Valid MOT Testing licence (if specialising as MOT Tester) * Previous experience within a main dealer or reputable independent garage * Demonstrable knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics tools * Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail * Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst delivering excellent customer service * Commitment to ongoing technical training and professional development If you are a motivated Vehicle Technician eager to join a professional environment offering stability, competitive pay, and personal growth, we want to hear from you.
