About the Role: Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals who take pride in precision work and have a strong background in heavy fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fabrication and welding of steel plate materials ranging from 6mm to 100mm thickness

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Operating fabrication tools and welding equipment safely and effectively

* Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained throughout the fabrication process

* Working as part of a team to meet production targets

* Carrying out gas metal arc welding (MAG), to manufacture items and components.

* Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses.

* Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures.

* Following engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder

* Competent in MIG/MAG welding (and ideally TIG, but not essential)

* Experience working with heavy plate materials (6mm – 100mm)

* Ability to read technical/engineering drawings

* High attention to detail and commitment to safety
