Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic (dependent on experience) + bonus (OTE £55,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00; 1 in 3 Saturdays, 08:00 – 13:00

We are seeking a driven and experienced Workshop Controller to join the high-performing team at Lexus Croydon. This is a pivotal leadership role within one of the UK’s most prestigious automotive brands, sitting at the heart of workshop operations.

As a Workshop Controller, you’ll be the crucial link between the showroom, service department, and technical teams — ensuring productivity is maximised, standards are upheld, and customers receive an exceptional Lexus experience.

What You’ll Do:
Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and manage workflow in a busy dealership

Act as the main point of contact between service advisors, sales teams, and technicians

Monitor and enforce health and safety standards across the workshop

Manage workshop waste, chemicals, specialist tools, and compliance procedures

Balance showroom support with effective workshop leadership

Ensure work is completed efficiently, on time, and to Lexus quality standards

Lead, motivate, and performance-manage a team of skilled technicians, setting the standard expected from a Workshop Controller within a premium brand

What We’re Looking For:
Previous Workshop Controller experience is essential

Proven experience managing and leading workshop teams

Strong technical knowledge with confident IT skills

Excellent communication skills across multiple departments

Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident under pressure

Comfortable overseeing workshop productivity, KPIs, and compliance as a senior Workshop Controller

Full UK driving licence required
