Company Secretarial Assistant

Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home)

⏰ 9:00–5:00 (Flexible with core hours 10:00–4:00)

£38,000–£45,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a highly respected professional services firm, is looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant to join their busy and collaborative team.

The Opportunity

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will manage your own client portfolio. You’ll work with a diverse client base — from small owner-managed businesses to large private companies — giving you broad exposure and excellent development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality company secretarial services, including:

  • Monitoring Companies House filing deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
  • Maintaining and updating statutory registers
  • Preparing board and shareholder minutes, resolutions, and statutory forms
  • Filing documentation to record corporate changes, including:
  • Director and officer appointments/resignations
  • Registered office changes
  • Company name changes
  • Accounting reference date amendments
  • Persons with Significant Control (PSC) updates
  • Share allotments and transfers
  • Removal of charges
  • Assisting with UK company and LLP incorporations
  • Supporting the registration of UK establishments for overseas entities
  • Assisting with identity verification requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in a client-facing company secretarial role (professional services or larger corporate environment)
  • Strong working knowledge of company compliance and statutory monitoring requirements
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients
  • Confidence in managing your own workload independently
  • CGI qualification (part-qualified or fully qualified preferred)
