Business Operations Manager

As a Business Operations Manager on the Open Connect (EE) team, you are vital to ensuring our team operates at their best. In this role, you will partner with the account team to ensure projects are organized and progressing, and we are delivering on our commitments to EE. Utilizing your critical thinking and multi-tasking skills, you will serve as a key link between the different discipline teams within Open Connect. More specifically, you'll:

Project Management

  1. Deliver consistently outstanding project management best practices - working with the client director to identify, scope, and deliver projects.
  2. Oversee all elements of the project lifecycle, applying a varied toolbox of PM techniques, including both waterfall and agile approaches.
  3. Translate business requirements into technical and non-technical requirements, defining quality criteria and ensuring these are met.
  4. Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  5. Design and establish new processes, workflows, and operating models with stakeholders.
  6. Strive for continuous improvement and contribute to project maturity across the organization.
  7. Build trusted relationships with the OpenConnect team and stakeholders, providing coaching on best practices.

Stakeholder Management and Adoption

  1. Guide stakeholders and project teams, adapting to changing circumstances and revising plans as needed.
  2. Build a strong network within the team to support business objectives.
  3. Communicate effectively, resolve obstacles, and manage conflicts.
  4. Develop change and communication plans to facilitate adoption and sustain change post-implementation.
  5. Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with project work within an agency, capable of collaborating internally and externally, communicating ideas clearly, and managing multiple stakeholders. Experience across multiple markets is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant digital media experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Wrike or similar tools
  • Client management experience a plus
