Registered Childrens Home Manager Established EBD Service

Salary: £60,000 £70,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (On-call responsibility)

Were working in partnership with a well-established, values-led childrens residential care provider who are seeking an experienced Registered Childrens Home Manager to take over the leadership of an established 3-bed EBD home in Watford.

This service has been operating successfully for over three years and is currently rated Good by Ofsted. The current Registered Manager is relocating, creating an excellent opportunity for a confident, therapeutic leader to step into a stable, well-supported home and continue driving high standards of care.

• Established 3-bed EBD service

• Fully staffed with an experienced Deputy Manager and Support Team

• Supported by a Responsible Individual, experienced Director, and HR department

• Strong therapeutic ethos embedded across the service

There is also future progression potential, with another home close to registration for candidates interested in a dual registration opportunity.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the home in line with Ofsted regulations

• Maintain and build upon a Good rating, with a clear pathway to Outstanding

• Provide strong, values-led leadership to an established staff team

• Embed trauma-informed, therapeutic practice throughout the home

• Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and quality assurance

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership and external professionals

• Champion positive outcomes for young people with EBD

The Ideal Candidate

Were keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Proven experience managing a childrens residential home

• A track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes

• A therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to care

• Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
