We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home in the South Yorkshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and who is ready to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and Ofsted registration of the home.
About the Role As the Registered Manager, you will have full legal responsibility and accountability for the service. You will lead and develop the staff team, ensure high-quality care delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and create a safe, nurturing, and homely environment where children can thrive. You will play a key role within the wider management structure, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the home.
Key Responsibilities Hold Ofsted registration and legal accountability for the home Lead, manage, and develop the staff team Ensure high-quality care in line with placement plans, risk assessments, and care plans Promote the health, welfare, and development of children and young people Oversee admissions, placements, and discharge processes Maintain detailed, accurate records and high standards of report writing
