Compliance Analyst – Private Equity
My client is a London-based investment firm specialising in growth capital and private equity.
Following sustained growth and many years consistent success, the firm’s Compliance Department is expanding, creating this opportunity for a junior Compliance Analyst.
The Role
The Compliance Analyst will support the Group’s Compliance Programme through the following key responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Group’s Compliance Programme, including AML/CFT activities and key compliance processes
- Prepare and maintain FCA and other regulatory filings, and review and implement new regulatory requirements
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures and manuals
- Conduct compliance monitoring and testing, including planning, execution and remediation tracking
- Support internal and external audits, operational due diligence and regulatory reviews
- Manage compliance registers, staff declarations, information barriers, market soundings, training coordination and related governance activities
The Candidate
- Between 6 months and a year of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in finance, business, economics or law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with good organisational capability
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated interest in compliance, regulation and financial services

Things I’ll be looking out for!
- People with Private Equity experience ideally, or Alternative Investment experience.Perhaps having interned in such an organisation.
- People with Paralegal experience as long as they want to pursue a career in Compliance and not law.
- You may have spent a year in a Graduate Scheme in a top tier investment bank.
- People with very strong academics.
- People who are not too experienced as this role will not be large enough.
