Job DescriptionElectrical Day Shift Engineer – Client Direct – Commercial Office – Canary Wharf, East London – £50,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity to join a direct client based within a landmark commercial office in Canary Wharf, East London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to be part of a high-performing on-site engineering team, delivering first-class maintenance within a fast-paced, high-spec environment.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) with a strong background in commercial building services. Working as part of a large and supportive team, you will be responsible for carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the building.

Hours of Work:
- 4 on 4 off (Days Only)
- 07:00 am – 19:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance \n
Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution \n
Maintain HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, and air conditioning units \n
Monitor and reset chillers and carry out basic fault diagnosis \n
Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold trends) \n
Monitor UPS systems and take readings \n
Maintain pumps, motors, seals, and bearings \n
Carry out emergency lighting testing \n
Support general mechanical maintenance across site \n
Work collaboratively within a large on-site engineering team \n
Ensure high standards of service delivery across landlord and tenant areas \n
Package:

Requirements:
\n Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (Essential) \n
18th Edition Wiring Regulations \n
Proven track record in commercial building maintenance \n
Experience within critical or high-end commercial environments (desirable) \n
Ability to work at heights (training provided) \n
Strong communication and teamwork skills \n
Professional and client-facing approach \n
