Job DescriptionElectrical Day Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – Baker Street, London – £47,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a commercial office building near Baker Street, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to work within a small on-site team, delivering high-quality maintenance across the site.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working as part of a team of 2 engineers, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and general building services maintenance.

Hours of Work:
- 4 on 4 off (Days Only)
- 07:00 am – 19:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance \n
Electrical maintenance including lighting, lamp changes, ballast replacements, small installations, control panels, and power distribution \n
Emergency lighting testing and maintenance \n
Maintain and service AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic servicing) \n
Carry out chiller resets and first-line fault diagnosis \n
Monitor water treatment systems (temperature checks) \n
Maintain pumps, motors, and associated mechanical plant \n
Carry out basic plumbing works including unblocking toilets and minor repairs \n
Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold checks) \n
Ensure all work is completed professionally and within required timeframes \n
Proactively identify and resolve faults across building services equipment \n
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures \n
Maintain clear communication with client staff and site management \n
Escort specialist subcontractors when required \n
Package:

Requirements:
\n Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)\n \n
18th Edition Wiring Regulations \n
Proven track record in commercial building maintenance \n
Experience within large commercial or critical environments \n
Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates \n
Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, and building services \n
Strong communication and client-facing skills \n
Must be able to attend site for a 07:00 am start\n \n
