CBW is partnering with a world-famous historical venue in South Kensington to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their in-house maintenance team. This is a rare client direct opportunity offering stability, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression within one of the UK’s most respected organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
\n Carry out daily plant room checks and general maintenance. \n
Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems — lighting, power distribution, control panels, and ballast changes. \n
Monitor and test emergency lighting systems. \n
Support HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs – filter changes, resets, and cleaning). \n
Monitor chillers, BMS, UPS systems, and take operational readings. \n
Proactively identify faults, report issues, and ensure compliance with all H&S regulations. \n
Liaise professionally with client staff and the site management team. \n
Remain flexible and proactive across all assigned tasks within your competency. \n
Working Hours:
\n 4 on / 4 off shift pattern \n
2 early shifts: 07:00–17:30 \n
2 late shifts: 16:00–02:00 \n
\nCab home provided after late shifts (must live within M25) \n

Requirements:
\n Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent \n
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations \n
Testing & Inspection certification \n
Experience in commercial building services (landlord & tenant areas desirable) \n
Apprentice trained (advantageous, not essential) \n
Ability to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern \n
