This is a mobile role requiring travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and fault-finding Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations (e.g., BS 7671 Wiring Regulations) Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Install lighting systems, power distribution units, fire alarms, and data cabling Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification Proven experience working as an electrician in commercial environments ECS/CSCS card (preferred or required depending on employer) Strong knowledge xbpsjku of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and plans Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel between sites) Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities Excellent attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to different environments
