A well-established Legal 500 law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their private family team. Known for their client-focused approach, strong local reputation and commitment to quality legal work, the firm offers a supportive environment while giving solicitors the autonomy to develop their practice locally.


This role is suited to a confident and independent Family Solicitor who is comfortable being the primary family law contact within this office and enjoys working closely with clients from the local community.


The Role:

  • Advising on divorce, financial remedy and child arrangements matters
  • Managing a mix of walk-in and referred clients
  • Handling a small amount oflegal aid work alongside an increasing volume of higher-value private matters
  • Developing the firm’s family law presence locally and supporting the growth of the department in the office


About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with litigation rights
  • Confident managing a private family caseload independently
  • Comfortable dealing directly with walk-in clients
  • Client-focused, approachable and technically strong
  • Organised, reliable and able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision
