As a Finance Business Partner, you will support your category exclusively, providing financial expertise to support and challenge the Commercial Teams in order to deliver profitable growth for Morrisons. You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced environment supporting a large team of high-profile, commercial stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Supporting decision making through delivering accurate analysis and insightEvaluating results to ensure there is clear understanding of business performanceCompleting period end activities (Stock, supplier income etc )Participating in the preparation and review of budgets and forecastsPlay a key role in developing and following up on ‘gap closing’ activities to ensure performance is delivered in line with expectationsMaintain accurate supplier income agreements including ensuring correct accounting treatmentIdentifying and Implementing improvements to ways of working within the Commercial Finance TeamsEvaluating and challenging new product launches, promotional activities new proposals/existing business to ensure profitabilityParticipate in cross functional project groupsProviding ad hoc Finance supportAbout youWe've built an incredibly diverse business, and we're working hard to make sure we truly represent the communities we serve.
