A specialist Ground Investigation contractor based in London is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

The Role

As Geotechnical Estimator, you will play a key part in securing new work and supporting the company's expansion. You will be responsible for pricing and preparing competitive tenders for a wide range of ground investigation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

* Reviewing tender documents, specifications and drawings
* Preparing detailed cost estimates for boreholes, trial pits, window sampling, laboratory testing and monitoring works
* Liaising with the Business Development Manager to align pricing strategy with company growth plans
* Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Preparing pricing schedules and tender submissions
* Supporting client communication throughout the bid process
* Assisting with commercial handovers to the operations team

About You

* Experience pricing ground investigation works
* Background working for a GI contractor or geotechnical contractor
* Strong commercial awareness
* Strong Excel and organisational skills
