A specialist Ground Investigation contractor based in London is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

The Role

As Geotechnical Estimator, you will play a key part in securing new work and supporting the company's expansion. You will be responsible for pricing and preparing competitive tenders for a wide range of ground investigation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing tender documents, specifications and drawings
Preparing detailed cost estimates for boreholes, trial pits, window sampling, laboratory testing and monitoring works
Liaising with the Business Development Manager to align pricing strategy with company growth plans
Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations
Preparing pricing schedules and tender submissions
Supporting client communication throughout the bid process
Assisting with commercial handovers to the operations teamAbout You

Experience pricing ground investigation works
Background working for a GI contractor or geotechnical contractor
Strong commercial awareness
