Head of Commercial – Contract | Glasgow | £93 per hour

We’re currently supporting a leading organisation in their search for an experienced Head of Commercial to join on a contract basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of commercial strategy across a complex portfolio, driving performance, managing risk, and ensuring strong governance across both client and supply chain relationships.

Location: Glasgow

Contract: Until December 2026 (starting ASAP)

Rate: £93 per hour (Inside IR35)

⏱ Hours: 37.5 per week

Travel: Expenses covered if not local


What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading contract negotiations across project and resource-based engagements
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategy to protect margin and drive performance
  • Overseeing supply chain performance and commercial alignment
  • Acting as the key escalation point for commercial matters
  • Supporting governance, pricing, and approval processes
  • Partnering with Finance on P&L and profitability
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders across client and internal teams


What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role
  • Strong track record in contract negotiation and commercial governance
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and supply chains
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
