MacGregor Black are partnering with a global spirits business to appoint a Head of On-Trade. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving performance across National On-Trade customers, shaping route to market strategy, and leading a London-focused team to accelerate growth across both Prestige On-Trade and Independent Free Trade accounts.

This permanent position will be based in London, with regular travel across key accounts and the wider UK On-Trade network.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop relationships with key National On-Trade customers, delivering strong commercial outcomes
  • Lead, coach, and develop a large On-Trade sales team, driving performance, accountability, and progression
  • Define and execute route to market strategy across the On-Trade channel
  • Shape and deliver the London Prestige and Independent Free Trade strategy, leveraging your network to unlock growth
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations across pricing, investment, activations, and long-term agreements
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure best-in-class execution
  • Monitor channel performance, using data and insight to optimise investment and ROI
  • Play a key role within the commercial leadership team, contributing to wider business strategy


What We're Looking For:


  • Proven senior leadership experience within On-Trade, ideally in spirits or beverage
  • Strong experience managing large National On-Trade accounts
  • Deep understanding of London Prestige On-Trade and Independent Free Trade (IFT) landscape
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing large, high-performing teams
  • Strong experience in defining and executing route to market strategies
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills at senior level
  • Well-connected across the London hospitality and On-Trade network


Salary & Benefits:

  • £110,000 – £120,000 base salary
  • Bonus and benefits package including pension and private medical cover
