Grade Level (for internal use):14Head of Technical Product - Financial Risk AnalyticsThe Head of Technical Product Management will lead the technical product strategy and execution for market risk and counterparty credit risk solutions within the Financial Risk Analytics business. This role focuses on ensuring the technical feasibility, scalability, and performance of products while aligning with business objectives. The position requires close collaboration with Technology, Quant, and Architecture teams to translate complex technical requirements into actionable roadmaps and deliver robust, cloud‑native solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the CPO to define and own the technical product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategiesSupport the CPO as a local counterpart, helping mentor the product teamLead a team of product analysts responsible for bridging business needs and technical implementationPartner with product owners and the CPO to find solutions benefiting all products and platforms, and to optimize the design of features in accordance to the strategic product architecturePartner with engineering and operational teams to validate technical designs, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure system integrityDrive adoption of modern technology practices (cloud-native, microservices, APIs) across the product portfolioConduct technical risk assessments and ensure compliance with security and performance standardsCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritize technical enablers alongside business featuresImprove technical governance, release predictability, and communication of technical dependenciesSupport client-facing teams with technical expertise during demos and roadmap discussionsSuccess MetricsAt S&P Global, we are committed to fostering a connected and engaged workplace where all individuals have access to opportunities based on their skills, experience, and contributions.
