Job Description

Key Duties

  • Provide a warm, courteous and prompt welcome for all residents and visitors, building strong work relationships
  • Run errands for residents, such as rubbish collection, delivering dry cleaning and parcels
  • Carry out regular checks of the lobby area and floor walks
  • Ensure the safety and security of all residents, guests and staff
  • To clean the public areas, refuse areas, back-of-house areas and leisure facilities daily, ensuring all spaces are kept meticulously clean and organised at all times.
  • To minimise spoilage, breakage, and operating supplies' waste, always be mindful of budget.
  • To handle resident enquiries courteously and efficiently and report resident complaints or problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor or senior team member on-site if no immediate solution can be found and ensure follow-up with the resident is done.
  • To hand over all Lost and found items with complete and detailed information to the Line Manager.
  • To have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and their economical use, ensuring the appropriate cleaning materials are used by standards set
  • To maintain organised and tidy work in all public areas.
  • To maintain appropriate housekeeping supplies and equipment needed to perform all tasks.
  • Liaise with other operational departments


Experience/Requirements

  • Previous experience as a housekeeper at a 5* hotel or luxury residential development
  • Good knowledge of COSHH
  • Very high standard of personal appearance
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety processes and the management of these
  • Proficiency in English
