HVAC Engineer\nLocation: We are looking for candidates located in and around Worcester, Manchester and Yorkshire\nSalary: Starting at £47,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits!\nContract: Full time, Permanent\nBenefits: 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Door to Door Travel, Overtime at 1.5x Mon – Fri, 1.5x Sat and 2x Sun, Specialist Tools, Company Van, Fuel Card, Career Progression and Further Training!\nMEC Humber is a highly experienced, accredited Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering nationwide services to domestic, commercial, and industrial clients.\nEstablished in 2015 and continuously expanding, we provide a full range of M&E services including plumbing, heating, electrical installations, gas work, drainage systems, and HVAC systems.\nRegistered with Constructionline, CHAS, Gas Safe, F-Gas, WaterSafe and NICEIC, we are committed to delivering compliant, high-quality engineering services across diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, construction, leisure, and more.\nDue to ongoing business growth, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our expanding operational team.\nAs an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing commercial and domestic HVAC and associated mechanical systems across sites within your geographical remit.\nYou will represent MEC Humber on client sites, ensuring professional service delivery, excellent technical standards, and full compliance with safety and industry regulations.\nThis is a field-based role with autonomy and variety, suitable for an engineer who enjoys working across a diverse portfolio of projects.\nAs our HVAC Engineer you will:\n * Install, maintain, service and repair HVAC systems across domestic and commercial sites\n * Diagnose faults and complete corrective actions efficiently\n * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance\n * Work on ventilation, air conditioning, heating and mechanical systems\n * Ensure all work complies with current regulations and internal standards\n * Complete accurate job sheets, reports, and documentation\n * Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams\n * Uphold MEC Humber’s high standards of customer service\n * Adhere to Health & Safety compliance and safe working practices\n * Support wider M&E projects where HVAC expertise is required\nIn order to be successful in this role you must have:\n * Valid D&C Gas Qualifications\n * F-Gas Certification\n * Level 3 qualification in HVAC, OR a transferable equivalent mechanical/electrical qualification\n * Experience working on HVAC systems in commercial and/or domestic environments\n * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills\n * Full UK driving licence\nIt would be great if you had:\n * Experience across multiple M&E disciplines (heating, gas, electrical)\n * Refrigeration and air handling unit experience (AHU)\n * Knowledge of MEP systems (as MEC Humber provides full M&E services)\n * Experience working within serviced-based environments such as education, healthcare, construction, leisure, or commercial facilities (reflective of MEC Humber’s client base)\nWhy Join MEC Humber\n * Work with a respected, growing M&E contractor delivering high-calibre engineering projects across the UK\n * Join a supportive team of qualified engineers\n * Ongoing training and development opportunities\n * Diverse site environments and industries\n * Opportunity to work with a company accredited by Constructionline, Gas Safe, F-Gas, NICEIC, CHAS & WaterSafe for safety and quality assurance\nIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on “APPLY” today!\nNo agencies please
