Inside Sales Representative (Location: Manchester, UK, Onsite)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth in our LCL business by managing inbound inquiries, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing existing customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively engage potential customers via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Promote Vanguard’s LCL services and solutions to new and existing clients.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and timely follow-up.
- Maintain and update sales records for all customer interactions and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in inside sales in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
- Strong understanding of LCL services and ocean freight processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with data and MS Office tools.
Goal oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
