Management Surveyor – Property Management (FTC to April 2027)

We are working with a leading FTSE 100 property owner and developer with £13bn of assets under management, to appoint a Management Surveyor on a fixed-term contract until April 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded property management team responsible for some of the most prominent commercial and retail assets in London and across the UK.


The Role

Reporting to a Portfolio Management Surveyor, you will be part of a large, collaborative management surveying team, delivering a best-in-class property management service across a designated portfolio. Following an initial training period, you will take responsibility for a range of property management workstreams, with strong support from senior colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

With appropriate guidance and training, your role will include:

  • Managing landlord & tenant matters across assigned assets
  • Coordinating and preparing management and performance reports
  • Managing landlord costs, forecasts, and service charge budgets
  • Maintaining accurate property management systems and records
  • Supporting leasing and asset management teams on new lettings and completion statements
  • Processing tenant applications for fit-outs, assignments, and lease variations
  • Managing arrears and liaising with accounting and credit control teams
  • Assisting with insurance premium calculations and recharges
  • Supporting rating assessments and mitigating void costs
  • Overseeing EPC preparation and associated works
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and best practice
  • Supporting wider team activity, including acquisitions, disposals, and holiday cover


About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach and a strong interest in management surveying. You will be able to evidence how you’ve overcome challenges and delivered results, and will bring:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • A team-focused mindset with a willingness to learn
  • The ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external consultants
  • Relevant experience within property management or surveying
  • A real estate degree or equivalent qualification (desirable)
