This is a stable, Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm) role, perfect for an engineer looking for a premier City location with a straightforward commute.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be the technical lead for all mechanical services on-site, ensuring the building's infrastructure operates at peak efficiency.
Your day-to-day will involve:\n\nPPMs & Reactive Works: Leading planned maintenance and rapid response repairs on mechanical plant.\n\nSystem Oversight: Maintaining HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and pressurized systems.\n\nCompliance: Ensuring all water treatment and L8 records are up to date.\n\nSub-contractor Management: Overlooking specialist vendors when they visit the site.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n\nSalary: £42,000 per annum.\n\nHours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (No weekend shifts).\n\nLocation: Prime City location (EC3) with excellent transport links via Fenchurch Street, Tower Hill, and Monument.\n\nEnvironment: A clean, modern commercial corporate environment.\n\nStability: A permanent position with a leading FM provider.\n\nRequirements\n\nQualifications: City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing/Heating & Ventilation.\n\nExperience: Proven track record in a commercial building services or facilities management environment.\n\nTechnical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling towers, and basic building management systems (BMS).\n\nMindset: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to be client-facing in a high-end corporate setting.\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
