Office Administrator / PA
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire (Hybrid) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
We’re currently supporting a growing, internationally backed business as they continue to build out their UK operation ahead of a significant period of expansion.
As part of that growth, they are looking to appoint an Office Administrator / PA to support the day-to-day running of the office whilst also providing direct administrative support to the senior leadership team.
This is a broad, varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy office environment, takes pride in staying organised, and is comfortable providing a mix of office coordination, team support and light PA assistance.
The role
This position will play an important part in helping the business stay organised during a busy and evolving period of growth. It will combine responsibility for the smooth running of the office with day-to-day administrative support to senior leadership.
Responsibilities are likely to include:
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office
* Acting as a key point of contact for general office administration and coordination
* Providing direct administrative support to a senior leader, including diary management and meeting coordination
* Organising internal meetings, calls and appointments
* Assisting with travel arrangements and related logistics where required
* Preparing documents, presentations and internal paperwork
* Managing office supplies, facilities coordination and general office upkeep
* Handling incoming queries, correspondence and general administration
* Supporting with onboarding administration for new starters
* Liaising with suppliers, service providers and internal teams
* Helping keep track of priorities, actions and follow-ups across a busy leadership team
* Providing wider support to the business as the UK operation continues to grow
About you
We’re looking for someone who is organised, dependable and proactive, with the confidence to support both the wider office and senior stakeholders.
You will likely have:
* Previous experience in an office administration, team support, PA or coordinator role
* Strong organisational skills and a good eye for detail
* The ability to manage a varied workload and juggle shifting priorities
* Good communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
* Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive information appropriately
* Solid Microsoft Office skills and general confidence with business systems
* A hands-on attitude and willingness to get stuck in where needed
