London | Up to £90,000 + performance bonus

A leading City of London hospitality institution is seeking a commercially driven Operations Manager to lead both its flagship restaurant operation and the strategic growth of its expanding catering and events division.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-and-scale opportunity.

The business has an established premium restaurant base and a growing off-site catering arm with ambitious revenue targets. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing the operational infrastructure required to support increasing event volume across London while ensuring the restaurant continues to operate with discipline and consistency.

The Role

You will take ownership of:

• Full operational leadership of a premium London restaurant

• Labour planning, cost control and GP performance

• Strategic scaling of a catering & events division

• Off-site event mobilisation and multi-venue delivery

• Staffing deployment across restaurant and events

• Equipment planning and supplier coordination

• Post-event review and operational optimisation

• Contribution to tenders and commercial bid submissions

• Alignment of operational capacity with forward sales pipeline

The objective over the next 12–18 months is to support catering growth toward £1.2m turnover while maintaining service excellence within the restaurant.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a senior operator with:

• 7–10+ years’ experience in premium hospitality operations

• Strong off-site catering or events delivery exposure

• Demonstrable P&L ownership

• Proven labour cost control and commercial awareness

• Experience managing concurrent multi-site or off-site operations

• Confidence contributing to tenders or commercial discussions

• A calm, structured and solutions-focused leadership style

This role will suit someone currently operating as a Senior Operations Manager, Head of Event Delivery, or multi-site leader within premium hospitality who is ready to take ownership of a growing division within an established brand.

Why This Role?

• High-profile London site

• Strategic growth opportunity

• Genuine operational autonomy

• Senior-level responsibility

• Competitive base salary up to £90,000

If you are commercially sharp, operationally disciplined and confident scaling premium event delivery, this is a rare opportunity to shape the next phase of a respected London hospitality business. Confidential discussions welcomed.
