Job Description

We’re working with a very highly quality investment firm looking to appoint an Operations Manager as part of its continued growth. This is a newly created role with a broad remit, offering the chance to shape and define the position. As the first person in this role, you would have significant autonomy, real scope to make an impact and the opportunity for international travel. This is a senior, hands on leadership role covering offices, people and infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee multiple offices and Office Managers
  • Lead vendor negotiations and contract management
  • Manage budgets

Team Management

  • Line manage the Operations team and EAs across multiple locations
  • Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and drive development
  • Oversee leave, coverage and day-to-day issue resolution

Projects & Technology

  • Lead new office openings, relocations and refurbishments
  • Drive operational improvement projects
  • Oversee IT strategy, data governance and cyber security

HR & Compliance

  • Oversee onboarding, policies and employee handbook
  • Manage performance review processes and HR matters
  • Ensure local regulatory compliance (H&S, building, data, etc.)


Ideal Candidate

  • Senior multi-office operational experience within the Buy-Side, Private Equity or similar industry
  • Strong budget, vendor and stakeholder management
  • Experience across HR operations and compliance
  • Experience with people management
