Overview I'm currently recruiting for a respected national law firm, ranked in the Legal 500, with a strong presence in Bradford. The firm has an opportunity for a Defendant Personal Injury Litigator to join its growing team. The Role You will be responsible for handling a caseload of predominantly fast track Defendant Employer's Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims, with occasional low-value multi‑track matters. The work is varied, mainly retail‑focused and spans litigation from commencement through to trial, with some pre‑litigation handling where necessary. You'll be supported by a modern case management system and a strong supervisory structure, allowing you to focus on quality legal work in a collaborative and professional environment. Key Responsibilities

Manage a caselog of Defendant EL/PL claims, primarily fast track Handle matters from litigation through to trial Occasionally deal with pre‑litigation cases Liaise effectively with clients, insurers and counsel Maintain compliance with relevant protocols and court procedures

About You

Minimum 1 year of experience in Defendant EL/PL litigation is required Comfortable working independently on a busy caseload Strong litigation and negotiation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Well‑organised and client‑focused with strong communication skills
