We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in Shrewsbury supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs.

This is an opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader who understands what outstanding care looks like and can create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and development of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing strong leadership and direction to the staff team, ensuring high-quality, child-centred care is delivered at all times.
Creating a safe, warm and supportive home environment where young people feel valued, respected and able to achieve positive outcomes.
Acting as a champion for safeguarding, ensuring all practices align with Children’s Home Regulations and safeguarding legislation.
Supporting and developing your team through supervision, mentoring and training, helping them grow into confident practitioners and future leaders.
Overseeing care planning, risk management and compliance, ensuring the home operates to Ofsted standards.
Managing budgets, staffing levels and operational performance of the service.
