Job Description
The role of Residential Conveyancer involves managing the legal processes associated with the purchase and sale of residential properties. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication with clients and third parties, and the ability to oversee transactions from inception to completion in a timely manner. The successful candidate will work within a legal firm based in Gateshead, serving clients across the North East region.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and property investigations to ensure clear title and identify any restrictions or issues affecting the property. Draught, review and negotiate contracts for the sale and purchase of residential properties. Liaise with clients, mortgage lenders, estate agents, surveyors, and other professionals to facilitate smooth conveyancing transactions. Manage the exchange of contracts and oversee completion processes, ensuring all legal formalities and deadlines are met.
