The firm’s London office, established over 50 years ago as one of the first US law firms in the city, plays a central role in its international platform. From London, recognised market-leading practitioners advise European and global clients on complex, cross-border matters.


The firm is a trusted advisor to a prestigious client base including major corporates, investment funds, financial institutions and business leaders across a broad range of top-tier transactional and contentious areas, including antitrust, asset management, public and private M&A, capital markets, private equity, finance, real estate, litigation, international arbitration, restructuring and tax.


They are currently recruiting for a Restructuring Associate (2-4 PQE). The successful Associate will work closely with private investment management firms, corporates, and facility borrowers. They will engage in cross-border and UK restructurings across various industry sectors, providing strategic solutions and support.



The Role


  • Support the delivery and coordination of restructuring matters.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to design and implement restructuring solutions.
  • Carry out financial analysis and modelling to underpin restructuring strategies.
  • Draft clear reports, updates and presentation materials for key stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with market developments and regulatory changes impacting restructurings.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.



The Person


  • 2–4 years’ PQE with relevant experience in restructuring and/or finance.
  • Candidates qualified in England & Wales are encouraged to apply, including Irish-qualified lawyers who are dual-qualified in England & Wales.
  • Strong analytical ability, including financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Familiarity with cross-border and UK restructuring frameworks.
