Tier 1 Restructuring Practice Group within a leading US law firm is looking to hire a 3–5 PQE Solicitor into its London practice, offering exposure to some of the most complex, high-stakes situations in the market, working alongside leading advisers on cross-border mandates.

The Firm

Elite international firm with a reputation for handling sophisticated, high-value matters at the very top end of the market. The London office is tightly integrated with its global network, particularly across the US and Europe, and is known for its intellectually rigorous, collaborative environment and premium client base.

The Opportunity

Working across a broad range of restructuring and special situations matters, advising on complex financial restructurings, distressed scenarios and insolvency-related issues. The work is often multi-jurisdictional, involving coordination across different creditor groups and stakeholders, with exposure to a range of financing structures including bank debt and high yield instruments. You’ll be given strong levels of responsibility, working closely with senior lawyers and clients on technically challenging, high-profile matters.

Candidate Requirements

3–5 PQE, England & Wales qualified, with solid experience in restructuring, insolvency or special situations work. Strong understanding of financing structures, including loan and bond documentation, and exposure to cross-border matters is important. You should have strong drafting and negotiation skills, be intellectually sharp, and bring a proactive, collaborative approach to working within a high-performing team.
