Job Description

Senior Reward Analyst

Location: London (3 days onsite)

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000

About the Organisation and the Role

Our client, a leading international financial services organisation, is seeking a strong Senior Reward Analyst to support a busy period of transformation within its People function. This is a high‑impact role working with autonomy to deliver critical reward initiatives, provide analytical expertise, and strengthen the organisation’s overall reward governance.

The position has been created to bolster capacity during a cycle of significant regulatory, structural and compensation‑related change. Operating as a trusted specialist, you will support core annual processes, contribute to the development of new reward frameworks, and help ensure compliance with evolving requirements such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive. The successful candidate will bring analytical depth, strong technical knowledge, and the confidence to collaborate across a diverse stakeholder group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage modelling, data analysis and reporting to support the Annual Salary and Bonus Review cycle, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to the organisation’s response to the EU Pay Transparency Directive, supporting the implementation, communication, and training activities.
  • Develop and refine compensation ranges in line with regulatory expectations and internal reward strategy.
  • Lead specific reward projects, including the enhancement of job evaluation frameworks (WTW) and the Global Grading System.
  • Complete external market salary surveys, analyse trends, and advise on adjustments to maintain competitive pay positioning.
  • Provide guidance to HRBPs and business stakeholders on pay, benefits and reward policies, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
  • Support performance management, out‑of‑cycle salary processes and recognition initiatives across the business.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the People Department’s service catalogue and reward service delivery.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience with Willis Towers Watson job evaluation methodologies and implementation of Global Grading frameworks.
  • Familiarity with EU Pay Transparency Directive requirements and related roll‑out activities.
  • Advanced analytical capability, with strong Excel skills (ideally including macros) and confidence in modelling and data interpretation.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and able to make well‑judged decisions with limited guidance.
  • Highly organised, with excellent planning skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management capabilities; collaborates effectively across teams and cultural contexts.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, resilience, and adaptability.
