TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming 2-form entry Primary School in Longbridge, who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom support in their Reception class. While this is not a designated SEN classroom, the class does include a high number of pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD, so confidence and experience with SEN support is essential.

This is a full-time, long-term role for the entire academic year, offering you the chance to build strong relationships and make a real, lasting impact. Consistency is incredibly important for these pupils, and the school places great value on providing a stable, nurturing environment.

We’re Looking For a Teaching Assistant Who:

Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (Autism/ADHD experience highly desirable)

Can confidently follow guidance from the class teacher

Brings positivity, warmth and patience to the classroom each day

Can build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils

Is reliable, resilient and committed to helping children feel safe and supported
