A Senior Business Analyst will lead small to medium-sized projects and be part of a team on larger, complex projects, leading on specific epics and high-level requirements. You will ensure outcomes align with the service vision and business strategy by connecting current and future business models and delivering towards achieving the business architecture strategy. You will support and inform product iteration, evolution, and optimisation.

You will build and manage effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical voice to stakeholders and delivery colleagues to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose.

You will work independently and/or as part of a team with a good understanding of your work area. You will help advance the Business Analysis community through sharing best practices and mentoring others.

Due to business requirements, this post is available on a full-time/flexible working basis. Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  1. Investigating operational and business needs and problems, and assisting in recommending service improvements and business solutions.
  2. Understanding and defining the problem to be solved, ensuring strategic decision-making supports business outcomes and user needs.
  3. Eliciting, analysing, and validating business requirements and user needs, as well as business strategy issues, effectively and appropriately.
  4. Collaborating with other professionals within the scope of delivery to embed the Business Analysis role and value in projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  5. Planning and leading large areas of Business Analysis delivery, owning challenges, and driving conclusions.
  6. Creating acceptance criteria (often using Behavioural Driven Development) to enable proper testing of new services.
  7. Modelling processes and procedures using established techniques, understanding their purpose and importance.
  8. Producing periodic performance measures to inform stakeholders and facilitate discussions around the required service.
