Site Manager - Planned Maintenance\nProject: Freemens Meadow – EWI & SHDF Works\nLocation: Leicester\nSalary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Package\n\nAbout the Project\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a £12m refurbishment scheme at Freemens Meadow in Leicester.\n\nThe project involves the refurbishment of 7 low-rise residential blocks, including External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation and works delivered under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). This is a significant energy-efficiency and sustainability-driven scheme aimed at improving thermal performance and reducing carbon emissions across the estate.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.\n\nYou will be the key operational lead on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing programme milestones, and maintaining strong communication with residents and stakeholders.\n\nKey responsibilities include\n\n * Managing all on-site activities across 7 occupied low-rise blocks\n\n * Supervising subcontractors, particularly EWI installers and associated trades\n\n * Driving programme performance and meeting key delivery milestones\n\n * Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times\n\n * Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings\n\n * Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specification\n\n * Coordinating materials, logistics, and site set-up\n\n * Liaising with the client, consultants, and liaison teams\n\n * Supporting commercial control through accurate record keeping and reporting\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Manager with experience delivering refurbishment or energy-efficiency schemes within occupied residential environments.\n\nEssential\n\n * Proven experience managing refurbishment or retrofit projects\n\n * Experience with EWI installation\n\n * Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations\n\n * SMSTS\n\n * CSCS (Black or Gold Card)\n\n * First Aid at Work\n\n * Ability to manage multiple work fronts across phased programmes\n\nDesirable\n\n * Experience delivering SHDF-funded schemes\n\n * Knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 processes\n\n * Experience working in social housing environments\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Salary up to £55,000\n\n * £5,000 Car Allowance\n\n * Pension\n\n * Long-term pipeline of retrofit and decarbonisation works\n\n * Opportunity to work on a flagship sustainability-driven scheme
