Invision are working with well-established Tier 1 Contractor delivering award-winning, multi-sector construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. Known for our collaborative culture, strong technical capability, and commitment to quality, we are continuing to strengthen their Midlands delivery team.\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager based in Leicester who will operate as a key member of the site leadership team — effectively the No.2 or No.3 on project, reporting directly to the Project Manager.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager looking to step into larger, more complex schemes while playing a critical role in successful project delivery.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Site Manager, you will take ownership of defined work packages and site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the high standards expected of a Tier 1 main contractor.\n\nYou will act as a senior presence on site, supporting the Project Manager and working closely with subcontractors, engineers, and the commercial team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Take responsibility for specific packages or project zones\n\n * \n\n Ensure strict adherence to H&S standards and CDM regulations\n\n * \n\n Support programme management and sequencing of works\n\n * \n\n Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with specifications\n\n * \n\n Lead site meetings and toolbox talks\n\n * \n\n Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and workforce planning\n\n * \n\n Support the Project Manager with reporting and progress updates\n\n * \n\n Assist in resolving technical and operational challenges on site\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for a confident, proactive construction professional who:\n\n * \n\n Has experience delivering large-scale projects (industrial, commercial, logistics, residential or mixed-use desirable)\n\n * \n\n Has operated as a Site Manager on projects of £10m+ value\n\n * \n\n Is comfortable acting as No.2 or No.3 on site\n\n * \n\n Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills\n\n * \n\n Understands programme management and subcontractor coordination\n\n * \n\n Has a strong focus on health & safety and quality\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * \n\n SMSTS\n\n * \n\n CSCS (Black or Gold )\n\n * \n\n First Aid at Work\n\n * \n\n Proven track record of managing subcontract packages\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
