Vacancy Ref: JR1950 Vacancy: Stock Controller Industry: Lighting & Electrical Wholesale Location: NW London Salary: Up to c. £33,000 per annum (DOE)
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller with exceptional attention to detail to work closely with the purchasing department within a well-established lighting and electrical wholesale business.
This is a key role for an organised and commercially aware individual who understands the demands of a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities: Control and maintain accurate stock levels across the business Work closely with the purchasing team to support buying activity Monitor stock turn, slow-moving lines, returns and stock cleanses Assist with bulk buying initiatives and rebate agreements Liaise with suppliers to negotiate, clarify orders and manage issues Support internal teams to ensure customer needs are always prioritised Maintain accurate records and work within set processes and deadlines
Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience within the electrical wholesale industry (essential) Proven background in stock control, with exposure to purchasing or buying Strong commercial awareness Excellent communication skills when working with suppliers and colleagues Highly organised, focused and able to work under pressure Comfortable working within a structured environment and tight deadlines
