We’re working with a globally recognised hedge fund to find a Team Assistant to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll be at the heart of the business, supporting operations, projects, and team activity while gaining valuable exposure and long-term career development.

THE ROLE:
This is a busy and varied Team Assistant role within a global hedge fund, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the London office. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The day to day will include:

    \n\n

    Manage office diary, including meeting room bookings and coordination of internal events

    \n

    Liaise with external suppliers and contractors (e.g. catering, maintenance, facilities)

    \n

    Support project planning, timelines, and delivery alongside senior stakeholders

    \n

    Act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external vendors

    \n

    Maintain office procedures, records, and operational processes

    \n

    Oversee procurement, ensuring cost efficiency across office needs

    \n

    Manage expenses, purchase orders, invoices, and petty cash

    \n

    Assist with ad hoc administrative and project-based tasks

    \n

    Coordinate internal and external events, including social and corporate functions

    \n

    Arrange travel bookings and prepare detailed itineraries

    \n

    Support day-to-day office operations and contribute to a positive workplace culture

\n

The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership. You will hold a minimum 2:1 degree from a Russell Group university (or international equivalent) and bring solid administrative and coordination skills. You’ll be confident across IT systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a calm, professional communication style. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently are essential, along with a friendly, approachable nature, a collaborative mindset, and a clear ability to use initiative and solve problems.
