The Role - Team Teach Behaviour Mentor

As a Team Teach Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and the pastoral team to support pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support. You will provide 1:1 and small group interventions, implement behaviour support plans, and use Team Teach strategies to de-escalate situations safely and effectively within the primary setting. You will play a key role in helping pupils regulate their emotions, engage positively in learning, and develop appropriate social skills. The role requires patience, resilience, and strong communication skills. Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or trauma-related behaviours is highly desirable.
