Role: Solicitor (Commercial)

Location: Belfast City Centre

Nixon McQuade are working with a leading national law firm in Belfast City Centre who are seeking to appoint a Commercial Solicitor to join their growing commercial team.


This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor to work on a broad range of technology, commercial, and data-related matters while advising a diverse client base including national and international businesses.


The Role:


  • Drafting and negotiating technology and IT contracts
  • Software development and licensing agreements
  • SaaS, cloud and outsourcing agreements
  • Data protection and GDPR compliance
  • E-commerce and digital platform agreements
  • Commercial contracts and strategic technology projects



The Person:


  • 2–5 years PQE
  • Experience in Commercial Contracts
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to provide pragmatic advice to clients
