Job Description
A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading manufacturer based in Birmingham.\n\n The A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of all factory machinery, plant equipment, and facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and support production efficiency.\n\n Package:\n\nPaying up to £48,000\n\nWeek A: 7-4 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1\n\nWeek B: 11-8 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1\nOngoing training and development opportunities\n\nMaintenance Engineer Role:\n\nCarry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery. \n\nFault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.\n\nSupport equipment installations and commissioning of new machinery.\n\nBe able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel \nStrong capabilities in both Mechanical and Electrical Requirements:\n\nProven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment\n\nRecognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.\n\nKnowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotic systems desirable.\n\nStrong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management\n\nBe able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
