Role: Quantity Surveyor - Prime Residential Contracting / High-End Refurbishment

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of high-end residential refurbishment projects ranging from £500k to £8m. Working closely with the Commercial Director, Project Managers, and site teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Valuations, variations, and change control management
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Negotiation and agreement of final accounts
• Managing client and subcontractor relationships
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in high-end refurbishment / prime residential contracting / or specialist subcontractor.
• Experience managing projects in the £500k – £8m range
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred)
• Ambitious, commercially driven, and detail-oriented
